BOOKING

Which ALPIN CHALET sizes are available at which locations?
Classic (for 8 to 14+ people): Filzmoos, Flachau, Flachauwinkl
Large (for 16 to 24+ people): Filzmoos, Kleinarl
XLarge (for 18 to 27+ people): Wagrain

Where are extra rooms available?
Extra rooms as additional bedrooms can be booked at any location – please inquire.

We don’t know the exact number of participants yet. Can we still book?
Yes, it’s best to book based on the base rental price for your desired category. After that, you can flexibly add more people. At the latest one month before arrival, a fully completed list of all travelers (including dates of birth) must be submitted. We will send you a form for this in due time.

How does the deposit work?
When booking, a 30% deposit of the total amount is required. Please pay this via bank transfer. Your reservation becomes binding once the deposit is received.

When is the remaining balance due?
The remaining amount must be transferred no later than one month before arrival. Failure to do so will be treated as a cancellation by the guest.

Can we pay by credit card?
No, we only accept bank transfers.

 

CANCELLATION

Until when can we cancel free of charge?
Bookings can be canceled free of charge up to 6 months before arrival. The written cancellation must be received by ALPIN CHALET GMBH at least six months before the agreed arrival date.

What are the cancellation rules after that?
For cancellations made by the guest up to one month before the arrival date, ALPIN CHALET GMBH retains the deposit as a cancellation fee. For later cancellations or partial cancellations, the guest is obligated to pay the full agreed amount.

 

SECURITY DEPOSIT

How is the security deposit handled?
A deposit must be paid via bank transfer at least one month before arrival: €700 for Classic, €1,000 for XL or Large Chalets.

Can the deposit be paid in cash?
No, we kindly ask for your understanding that we only accept bank transfers.

Is the deposit refunded?
Yes, or partially. Any consumed services or damages will be deducted from the deposit.

 

INDOOR AMENITIES

Does each room have its own bathroom?
Yes, each room has an ensuite bathroom. Additionally, there is a separate toilet and an extra shower in the sauna area on the ground floor.

How is the kitchen equipped?
The kitchen is fully equipped for large groups: large pots and pans, plenty of plates and cutlery, quality kitchen knives, bread slicer, blender, microwave, kettle, etc. If you need anything specific, feel free to ask us.

Which coffee machine is available?
All chalets have a Nespresso Professional machine with various pods available (€1.30 per pod), and a filter coffee machine.

Do all chalets have a tiled stove?
Yes, all ALPIN CHALETS have a modern pellet stove with a viewing window and underfloor heating.

What baby/kids equipment is available?
We provide: stroller, sled, stair gate, highchair, and baby cot. Please let us know in advance what you need.

Do we need to bring bed linen?
No, bed linen is provided and beds will be made.

Are towels and toilet paper provided?
Yes, each guest receives two towels and two bath towels. Toilet paper, kitchen towels (paper towels, dishcloths, sponge, etc.), and cleaning supplies are provided. There is a washing machine and a tumble dryer in every house.

Are basic food items like oil, vinegar, spices provided?
No, all food items must be brought along.

Is there a hairdryer?
Yes, every bathroom has a hairdryer.

What kind of beer keg is available?
8-liter kegs for the Beer Tender (Zipfer Urtyp) are available in each chalet - price euro 48.

 

OUTDOOR AMENITIES

Where are pools available?
Outdoor pools are available at all locations except Flachau. Filzmoos also has an indoor pool, and Wagrain has a whirlpool.

What are the pool opening hours?
Outdoor pools (summer only, May to October): 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Filzmoos indoor pool (year-round): 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Wagrain whirlpool (November to April): 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Are the pools heated?
Yes, all pools are heated.

Are the pools private?
No, all pools are shared with other guests of the resort.

Do all chalets have a private sauna?
Yes, each chalet has a private sauna.

Is there a terrace with BBQ at every location?
Yes, all chalets have a private terrace with a charcoal BBQ.

 

ARRIVAL & CHECK-IN

When is check-in?
From 4:00 p.m.

How does key handover work?
Your host will meet you in person, hand over the key, and do the check-in. You’ll receive their contact info in the pre-arrival email after your final payment.

 

CHECK-OUT

When is check-out?
By 9:00 a.m.

How does check-out work?
Your host will stop by the evening before departure to go over everything with you. The chalet must be left broom-clean.

Is late check-out or early check-in possible?
Only on request for short stays.

How does final cleaning work?
For the final cleaning, we charge a flat fee of Euro 370 in the ALPIN CHALET Classic and Euro 470 in the ALPIN CHALET Large and XL. Trash must be disposed of properly and dishes washed. Excessive dirt or trash incurs an extra charge.

Is waste separation required?
Yes, please separate your trash according to Austrian regulations using the bins provided. Improper disposal may result in an additional fee.

When and how is the final bill settled?
Your host will visit the evening before departure to go over services used. These will be offset against the deposit, including any damages. The final invoice will be sent after your stay.

 

INFRASTRUCTURE

How many parking spaces are there?
Classic chalets: 4 garage spaces
Large/XLarge: 6 garage spaces + additional outdoor spots

Can a minibus be parked at the chalets?
Yes.

How far is the ski lift?
Depending on the location, 150–400 meters.

How far is the nearest supermarket?
Depending on the location, 120 meters to 6 km.

How far is the nearest ski school?
Depending on the location, 400 meters to 5 km.

 

SERVICES & CATERING

How do we order breakfast catering?
Breakfast catering must be booked for all guests and for the full stay. About 5 weeks before arrival, you’ll receive a service order form.

Can we order dinner for specific days only?
Yes, dinner can be booked for individual evenings. Half board must be booked for the entire stay. Ordering is done via the service form.

Is a bakery delivery service available?
Yes, at all locations during the peak season (mid-December to the end of March - July and August). During off-seasons, please ask in advance.

How does the bakery service work?
Upon arrival, your host will give you a list where you can note your bread and pastry preferences.

How is the catering and bakery service billed?
All services are settled via your deposit.

 

BENEFITS

Do we receive guest cards?
Yes, you’ll receive the relevant guest card from your host at check-in.

What benefits does the guest card offer?
Depending on location, various discounts and offers are included. Full details are on each region’s tourism website, or we can send you info on request.

Are there discounts for ski passes or rentals?
Ski amadé offers online Early Bird discounts (up to 15%). We can organize ski passes for you at the standard rate. For equipment rental, we’re happy to recommend a shop. Unfortunately, discounts are not available.

 

HOUSE RULES

Are pets allowed?
Pets are welcome with prior arrangement. €20 per day per dog or cat.

Is smoking allowed?
Whether smoking is allowed in the ALPIN LOFT is up to you. Smoking is strictly prohibited in the bedrooms, bathrooms, and the sauna.

When does quiet time begin?
From 10:00 p.m. onward, please keep noise down outdoors and close kitchen windows and patio doors.

Is music allowed?
Of course! Please use only the built-in music system provided in the chalet.
